TCC Jazz Festival
The Tulsa Community College Performing Arts Division and the Music Department are pleased to announce the Second Annual TCC jazz festival on Thursday, April 1st. This festival will run from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. and participation will be limited to 14 bands.
Our judges/clinicians for this festival will be: James Rocillo, professional trumpet player and music professor at Riverside Community College, CA; Eric Willie, professional percussionist and music professor from Tennessee Tech University, TN; Don Bailey, Director of Jazz Studies from University of Arkansas, Fort Smith; and finally, Dr. Tommy Poole, professional saxophonist and music professor from Northeastern State University. Dr. Poole will be taking notes during your performance and will clinic the band until the other adjudicators get on stage.
